Its been a while

Well hello- it's been a few days.

Honestly I have been working all weekend long. Which is a good thing! I have sold a ton of sunglasses and help the store reach 5% commission! Yay!

We only receive 5% when our store makes over it's weekly goal. Like when we hit 150% of our weekly goal we get 5%, 120% we get 3% and 100% we get 1%

Boring. Anyway, on my down time recently I have started and finished Grey's Anatomy and now I have started Drop Dead Diva. It's good, but it's not the office or grey's.

So I think I have talked about my dog Kavu before? Well he is so cute and little! Anyway, this morning I woke up early to go to work and I found my favorite Chapstick eaten by my dog. I it was completely empty. :( I found the lid in his bed and the tube by the front door. I was so sad!! He is so hard to stay mad at tho. I'll attach a pic:)

Tomorrow I have a lunch date with my friend Sarah Burgess!!! I'm so excited!!! It's been so long since I've seen her!! Sarah used to work at CWE. Last year she was on top staff... I never got a chance to be in a cabin with her, but she is an awesome person! She is so encouraging!

Also, PLEASE keep my bestie, Lindsey May in your prayers! Her little brother has serious kidney problems and he had a transplant a few months ago and he is back in the hospital. He should be released soon, but still be thinking about that family.

Tonight there was an awesome storm. It was so cool driving through it.

The second pic is of me when I was like 9 or 10... I was Barbie for Halloween!! Lol my mom recently put it on Facebook.

Well, of course I can't sleep.

Sometimes I just have so much on my mind and I'm just restless.

I have a job interview in the morning and I don't think I'm going to go. It is for an insurance agency. I would be a sales agent. I don't think that would be a job I would enjoy. I think i will stay at Sunglass Hut.

Selling health insurance is a totally different level compared to sunglasses. Yes, I could prob sell you a pair of sunglasses even if you didn't want to buy any.... Or at least get you to understand how cheep sunglasses burn up your retina.

Anyway, I was asked if I would be interested in taking the store I work in now.... BUT I don't think I will be getting it any time soon... The manager now doesn't seem to be running from the position.

Oh and have you seen the new Toms eyewear? It's the same as the shoes... Buy a pair and you can give someone either a pair of glasses, give someone sight altering surgery, or a dr appointment. Sounds great right? Well in order to be able to help out the needy, you have to buy a pair of $130-$160 shades.

Well, Lux Retail has been offering the SAME PROGRAM for 20 YEARS!!!

www.onesight.org/
North America OneSight. OneSight exists to restore and preserve clear vision for adults and children in need worldwide.

If you go into any Sunglass Hut or Lenscrafters you can donate $1 or $10 to help someone get surgery, or a new pair of glasses. You can even donate a pair of your OLD sunglasses or OLD perception glasses to a store and they will send them to the foundation.

Okay. Sorry this has been bugging me for a while. You shouldn't have to spend $130-$160 just to help people in need. You can just donate $1 and it gives someone a dr appointment.

We turned our cable off the other day... To save money... It really sucks bc I don't really have much to do during the day... Like today was the first day without cable and I looked at houses for sale on line for like 3 hours... We are SO NOT in the market for a home, but I found some really nice homes for cheep lol and I found one for over $1 million here in NWA!!! It only had 2 bedrooms and the showers were waterfalls and it had an inside pool. It was just crazy.

No work

So, welcome to my blog!! I used to be able to vent with Twitter, but then more people I knew got a twitter.

Currently, I am trying to find a new job. The search has been going on for about two months now. I work at Sunglass Hut but I'm working about 7-20 hours a week. My boss understands that I need as much work as possible, but instead of giving me more hours, he hired someone new. It's very frustrating.

Yesterday, I was at church and this really stuck to me:

Acts 5:17
And some footnotes to that: "some will be jealous, afraid, or threatened. Expect some negative reactions, and remember that you must be more concerned about serving God than about tge reactions of people."
